When it comes to desserts, Jim Culcasi Jr., doesn't concern himself a wit about the calorie-laden creations he prepares from scratch at this family-owned downtown restaurant. Learning a bit about cooking from his mother, Rosine, Culcasi uses his vivid imagination to whip up cakes that include flavors like six-layer German chocolate, Oreo cookie, peanut butter cup and Nestle's Crunch. If Elvis was spotted here, you can bet he wouldn't bring his personal trainer along. Fifi's in Pacific Grove was the runner-up in this category.
