When it's time for Captain Best-Of to round up Mom and Pop Best-Of and a the little Best Ofs, his super-hero menu detector vibrates wildly toward downtown Monterey and the read-out flashes "Rosine's." Junior heroes will be happy as clams with their own special menu and grown-ups get to agonize over choices like the ultimate turkey and avocado Benedict, or the homemade lasagna, or one of the meal-size salads. Desserts are geared toward a super-hero-sized sweet tooth, too: Diners watching their waist lines will have to rely on heroic measures of restraint to bypass the six-layer Reese's peanut butter cake and the deep-dish Snickers.
