By Terro Tucco
Where To Eat.... Generous portions, a relaxed atmosphere and desserts like Kit Kat cream cake make Rosine's Restaurant (www.rosinesmonterey.com, 434 Alvarado St, downtown Monterey, 831-375-1400) a hit with all ages. Tortilla scramble ,with bacon, green onions and cheese served with warm flour tortillas ($8.95) and veggie eggs Benedict with avocado, tomatoes and mushrooms ($9.50) head the breakfast offerings. Hearty homemade clam chowder, pastas and sandwiches appear at lunch. And while the children tuck into chicken tenders or pasta at dinner, there's also breaded Calamari ($16.95) and lemon cilantro chicken ($15.95).
