Our History

Rosine's Restaurant first opened in 1980 by the Culcasi Family in the Del Monte Shopping Center in Monterey, CA. The restaurant was an instant success and the family shared in the work, from cooking and baking to serving and greeting. In 1986 they relocated to 434 Alvarado Street in historic Downtown Monterey. Rosine's has established a reputation with satisfied customers who enjoy their delicious house made soups, hearty meals, sumptuous array of award-winning desserts. Don't miss a stop to this third generation family-run restaurant celebrating over 43 successful years.
